these hard times…
Oct 31st
Morning falls like rain,
Into the city life, there goes another night.
Lose my breath in waves,
Knowing that every crash, is bleeding the hour glass.
Taking the stride, from all our lives.
Everyone keeps talking,
They’ll promise you everything, they don’t mean anything.
We may lose our focus,
There’s just too many words, we’re never meant to learn.
And we don’t feel so alive.
Say goodbye, these days are gone,
And we can’t, keep holding on,
When all we need, is some relief,
Through these hard times.
Move your hands in circles,
Keeping me hypnotized, the power behind your eyes.
Move around your bedroom,
Cursing the naked sky, you should be here tonight.
But you stay alone and cry.
Say goodbye, these days are gone,
And we can’t, keep holding on,
When all we need, is some relief,
Through these hard times.
There’s something missing,
You’ll never feel it but you,
You’re gonna feel it when its gone,
When its gone.
Say goodbye, these days are gone,
And we can’t, keep holding on,
When all we need, is some relief,
Through these hard times.
These hard times, hard times, hard times,
Say goodbye, these days are gone,
Say goodbye, these days are gone,
These days are gone.

fast zombies suck…
Oct 27th
Well as some of you may know, one of my phobias is fast zombies. They’re the worst! I played this recent addon for Half Life 2 that was called Smod Invasion. It basically adds zombies (and lots of them) into the Half Life 2 single player game. I was having fun killing them one by one, then I loaded a level and they started charging at me! With their glowing eyes and distorted faces. It’s the first game in a long time that actually scared me and made me jump along with sweat and scream. It’s always fun when a game invokes an emotional response in you. While searching for a good picture, I did find this really cool blog entry from someone. Take a peak. :D
First things first, you have to know your enemy. Zombies come in two flavors: fast and slow. Fast are definitely cool, but you’ll need more than a baseball bat and a pair of running sneakers to survive that zombie attack. Slow zombies – well why the heck would anyone die from a slow zombie? If you can’t get away from a slow zombie, you earned dismemberment.
Let’s suppose that you made it through the first 10 minutes of the zombie-fest, and while most of your town are looking for live flesh to feast on, you’re wondering how to hot-wire a car and get out of town. You need a plan of action…
..and then i return
Oct 22nd
Well I decided to go ahead and post an entry since its been a while. I had a great time at the beach and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I returned to a small work load and was able to catch myself up pretty quickly. Nothing really stressed me out too much or take away my fresh from vacation vibe. I’ve experienced something really wild since I returned though. I think it was an act of God in a way. I’ll tell you my story… I went on ebay and bought this cool crucifix. When I returned home it was in my mailbox, so I gathered it along with my week old mail. Well in my haste I guess I ended up throwing away my new purchase. I didn’t think to look for it until this week, but here’s the amazing thing. I put my trash out last week, but for some reason the garbage people didn’t pick up the bag. I was debating leaving it there until today, but I started looking for it yesterday. The whole time I thought… “maybe I threw it away”.. but didn’t give it much thought. I looked all around the whole house, but couldn’t find it. I went to the end of the street, brought in the bag and tore through it (not a fun process). As I got towards the contents of the bag that had the original shipping package, I saw it shining towards the bottom of the bag. I think that someone up stairs was making sure that I was able to get a hold of this before it went off to never-never land which I call the dump. Kind of amazing.. a little thing, but still a very cool thing.
That pretty much brings you up to my life to date. I work, I play warhammer.. I have weird dreams, that I sometimes remember, but most times forget after my morning shower. I’m watching Terminator, the Sarah Connor chronicles, which I’m totally hooked on.. It’s just an amazing show and if you’ve ever been interested in the Terminator story, you would enjoy it.
Life is good… enjoying myself and playing games.. Not really dating anyone now, but not really worried about it.
Ohh.. one last piece of information. One of my ex girlfriends (current friends) gave birth to her son this week. Congrats goes to her :)
