…grrr….

I swear sometimes dealing with other businesses is like dealing with a small child who has a bad attitude and hates life. I’m not really talking about the people who use me for my services, but instead the other companies that service them. I had to deal with one particular person this morning who is a sales rep for a local phone company around here. He got it in his head that one of my customers was going to bail out on their contract just because they got another internet provider. No…. considering the fee for doing so would be “3000 dollars”. So he decided to start the cancellation process. Well after leaving this pleasant voice mail I called him repeatedly until he decided to stop avoiding my calls and told him that NO ONE authorized a cancellation and asked him where he got that idea from.
“I have my sources” he said.
Really??? That’s your answer… so no one authorized a cancellation, but you decided to do one anyways because you have YOUR SOURCES. Holy shit!! I told him in no uncertain terms that we are not backing out of the contract and will stick with it until its end. What a load of crap.. I honestly wonder if we could have sued him for the early cancellation if I let him proceed because he would have been the one that broke the contract, not us. Like little children I tell you…
How easy my life would be if I didn’t have to put up with nitwits like this.

Well I haven’t been on here in a while and that was largly in part to being strucken with the deadliest of all illnesses, the coldflu. Ahh yes, it was a strange mixture of both with symptons from both sides playing havoc on my poor immune system. With one foul swoop it crippled me into my bed and made me sleep for 4 or 5 days. However I am back and I should be posting more as the days roll on. I also am starting to learn flash! No, not exposing myself to small children or the eldery, but a program with animation and the like. I figured it was time to add something new to my brain just incase I need to start doing more web sites to make ends meet.
And with that I think I’ll wrap up this entry. I’m back off to bed for a normal night’s rest and hopefully some busy work tomorrow.
Also before I close. A bit of an update on my friend Kevin King. Last I heard he was out of the ICU. Which is great news. I also talked with his family and they said that when he first came in that the doctors didn’t expect him to make it though the night. It was totally in God’s hands that night and I think King should count himself lucky that he’s still around on this earth. Just means that God’s not done with him yet! Thank you for all who have shown an interest in my friend and for all of you who have sent a prayer his way.
