Well the search engine robots have spoken and therefore I must deliver!  I’ve noticed that I tend to get a pretty good amount of hits from this site, so I guess I have to update it every now and then.  They may not always be people that I like or even people that I know, but they are people nonetheless and deserve SOMETHING.  So what shall I give them?.. Oh yea.. Here’s some tasty bit of bloggage.

I updated my Mac Pro to Snow Leopard this past week and so far have been on the fence.  Yes… it does shut down quicker and maybe even boots faster.  Nothing mind blowing like I was expecting.  I did have to do a little bit of voodoo magic to get my printer to work again, but that’s to be expected from such an old piece of hardware.  That aside I have had no problems.. Upgrading was EASY!!  I just put the DVD in the drive and double clicked the cute little kitty icon (I think it was a kitty.. oh well whatever it was).  It then told me to walk away in so many words because it was going to suck away 45 minutes of my computer’s life.  It pretty much did that.  After a couple of reboots and a fancy “Welcome” video, it was done.  It reminded me more of a service pack upgrade than an actual new OS.  Who am I to complain though?  I basically paid for a family pack of 5 so I ended up shelling out about 10 bucks per computer.  You can’t complain about that.  Microsoft should take an example and do that for all these poor bastards that were suckered in to buying Vista and now hate life because of it.  The people that like Vista can pay the full price ;o).  They deserve it for liking such a retarded OS.

I have been running Winblows 7 on my Boot camp partition and am so far very impressed what they have done.  I will say that it’s a bit late and I still think it should be given away as an apology for their other abortion of an operating system, but then again if I always got my way I wouldn’t be where I am today.  I’m not complaining, mind you… Just saying is all.  I do use Windows for playing all my games, which the Mac OS seems to lack the ability to play anything unless it’s Zombies vs Plants or any Blizzard game.  I will say that I knew that when I bought it and am glad I can still run Widows (on purpose sp).  I am even very happy about the hardware that pushes this beast and still allows me to play all the cool games at max detail.  Kudos to Apple for making a good machine and kudos to M$ for making an OS that doesn’t crash and run like crap. ;o)   … Yes.. that was sort of a backhanded compliment.

Let’s see.. what else.  I have watched a bunch of movies recently.. So many in fact that I signed up for a Flixster account (my name is rehatiel on there).  I wish I could review movies on here, but I watch so many that I would be typing all the time and my fingers would probably rot off.  I will say this.. there’s one movie that stands out from the rest.  The Boat That Rocked…. AWESOME Brit film.  Has all the big name British actors and actresses that I love.  About the pirate radio stations in the 60′s over in the good old UK.  It’s funny.. great soundtrack, and a very well done story (I’m using story in the loosest of terms because it is based off of true events).

Well folks.. that’s my big update!  My plans this next month will be to blog more… or not.. it’s a surprise.  Even to me!  I will say this for now.. Life is good.  I’m in a good place right now.  I’m looking forward to my upcoming vacation.. Destination to be announced, but if you know me then you probably already know where I’ll be.  We’ll talk about that later.  I think it’s time now for my reward!
