Ahh the movie to fall asleep to tonight (or rather this week) is Finding Nemo :). I just simply love this movie! I know it’s a kids movie but I don’t care! Those fish are great and Ellen Degeneres in this movie is just freakin’ precious! I love those turtles too!! “My bubbles!”
My friends Jadielady and Sam are away at the beach this week and it’s my job to take care of Kitty and Tripsie (the three legged cat). I spent about an hour and a half there today cause .. well.. one they have cable and two I didn’t feel like making the drive all the way back to the Heights since I had to be back in Lynchburg anyways :D. I think the kitties loved to just give all of their spare hair to me and my black pants. I never did change after the funeral today so I was dressed up all day long.
Also watched Blades of Glory tonight! Man, I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard in a loooooooong time. The first skating scene they did together made me crack the hell up and about piss myself. I know this movie has been out a while, but if you have the chance to watch it.. DO IT! Trust me, it’s very funny and you won’t regret it. Gonna try to get Jadie and Sam to watch it when they get back. I think it’s something they’d love… that is assuming they haven’t seen it yet.
Lastly… I would like to send out my prayers to Thomas who just recently lost his grandfather. I know what he’s going through. I still haven’t gotten over my grandfather’s passing. It’s a tough time he’s going through and I know that he’s got a long journey ahead of him. Good luck bud, I hope you feel better really soon. Take care of yourself.
battlestar galactica > awesome!

Okay, so I started watching Battlestar Galactica a while back and it just seems every episode has left me wanting more. However nothing has left me wanting as much as the episode that was aired this past Friday. I mean WOW. I won’t spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet, but there was a part during the show that I actually found myself cheering and screaming out loud. My eyes also watered up!! What an awesome show.. Seems that TV shows have just gotten better and better, even to the point where they’re sometimes… no… most times better than a film! I say keep it up… Keep the writers happy and it’ll keep me happy!
On a sad note however, my step grandmother passed away this weekend. It was very peaceful and she was really getting up there in age so we all expected it to happen sooner or later. I will be a pallbearer during the service. It’s funny, my mom actually asked me if I wanted to do that and the only thing I could think of is who would say “no” to something like that? I mean it really shouldn’t even be a question. So here’s to my step grandmother… I know you’re in a much better place.
In Memory of Daniel Bunn

This post is made on a very sad note. A friend of mine Daniel aka Harbinger passed away a couple of days ago. He was about my age and we used to hang out at Josh’s house and play games. He was a fellow gamer and someone I would have called a friend. I am going to post his obituary now:
Daniel Jon Bunn
BEDFORD – Daniel Jon Bunn, 28, of Bedford, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at his residence. He was born in Charleston, S.C., June 28, 1978, a son of Richard Wayne Bunn and Patricia Ann McBrayer Bunn of Bedford.
Daniel was employed with Carilion Health Systems in Roanoke.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two sisters, Jennifer Surface and Angela Bunn, both of Bedford; and one nephew, Logan Bunn.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2007, at Burch-Messier Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 317 W. Main Street, Bedford, (540) 586-****.
As I post this I am reminded of both how close he was to my age and how I will miss him. Doesn’t seem like there enough time in the world to do the things you want and to lose your life at such a young age is a horrible thing to have happened. Just makes me think… Oh well.. I’m kind of tired of writing this, but I do want you guys to know he was a cool dude and I’m glad I knew him for the time he was in this earth. Rest in peace bro… We miss you.
