I swear sometimes dealing with other businesses is like dealing with a small child who has a bad attitude and hates life. I’m not really talking about the people who use me for my services, but instead the other companies that service them. I had to deal with one particular person this morning who is a sales rep for a local phone company around here. He got it in his head that one of my customers was going to bail out on their contract just because they got another internet provider. No…. considering the fee for doing so would be “3000 dollars”. So he decided to start the cancellation process. Well after leaving this pleasant voice mail I called him repeatedly until he decided to stop avoiding my calls and told him that NO ONE authorized a cancellation and asked him where he got that idea from.
“I have my sources” he said.
Really??? That’s your answer… so no one authorized a cancellation, but you decided to do one anyways because you have YOUR SOURCES. Holy shit!! I told him in no uncertain terms that we are not backing out of the contract and will stick with it until its end. What a load of crap.. I honestly wonder if we could have sued him for the early cancellation if I let him proceed because he would have been the one that broke the contract, not us. Like little children I tell you…
How easy my life would be if I didn’t have to put up with nitwits like this.

Haven’t blogged in a while.. honestly I have been too tired. Been working 10 and 12 hour days and honestly haven’t had time to think about anything! I’ve had crazy dreams I would love to type out every morning, but I’m just too drained to honestly care. I used to mainly blog when things were going weird in my life, but with recent changes things have been going well. Also I’ve been going insane with work. I will be glad when school starts so I can play catch up.
Vacation is in October… VA Beach here I come.. going to sit on the beach.. relax. Anyways.. not really in the mood to write anything. Not really in the mood to do anything but sleep. And after saying that.. good night.
busy busy busy..

Well with the schools getting ready to start back up (at least the two that I work for) I haven’t had much time to do anything except work then come home and sleep. That leaves little time for the simple pleasures in one’s life. Eating… sexual relations (even if it’s with one’s self)… television… Fortunately me being busy usually means job security and/or money. Money to buy cool things like what I purchased for my Macbook.
I bought a 320 gig hard drive and 2 gigabytes of memory for my Macbook. After installing it yesterday I have noticed a pretty big increase in speed. The hard drive is faster (cause it’s higher RPM) and the memory just has more room to do… memory stuff ;). I think I just finished loading up all the software I’ve wanted on my Mac, but until now haven’t had enough room to accommodate. After that came the hours of time I spent downloading updates for those programs (luckily Apple makes it super easy).
I’m sorry to say.. but I’ve pretty much given up the smoking habit. I haven’t had one in about 2 days and the only ones I had were around Troy when we were working for a local school Monday and Wednesday. And it’s very hard to sneak around a school and smoke :) Yes I can feel the difference in my life without them… I want to kill everything!!!!!!!!!! :D I figured I’ll have one tomorrow night when Sam and I hit up the local pub. It’s a very hard thing to quit smoking, but I’m trying my best to give it up at least 90%. If I can get back to just doing it every once and a while on the weekends, then I’ll be happy.
Well it’s back to work with me. Have to finish doing invoicing today, because I doubt I’ll have time to do it tomorrow :D Hope everyone has a great weekend.
